Epifanes Pp Extra Varnish – 2 L

Epifanes PP Varnish Extra is a professional, very fast-drying two-component high-gloss and high-filling varnish based on alkyd resin and isocyanate. Excellent greenhouse, impact and abrasion resistance and yet elastic enough to absorb the effects of wood. Good resistance to water, alcohol and household chemicals. .

Application:

Professional very fast-drying insulation layer, sealer and/or filling layer for bare wood, indoors and outdoors above the waterline, in synthetic or polyester varnish systems. Insulating varnish for tropical wood species in clear lacquer systems. Hard yet somewhat elastic base varnish for strong wood (masts, oars). Interior finishing of various types of wood, including doors, paneling, kitchen furniture, tables, counter tops, etc. Maintenance of existing, intact clear two-component interior systems.

Brush processing:

Epifanes Thinner for PP Varnish Extra (fast evaporating) Epifanes Poly-urethane Brush Thinner (slow evaporating)

Processing time at 20°C:

1 hour

Advice:

For additional UV protection outside, top the varnish with two or more layers of Epifanes Poly-urethane clear (2-C) or Epifanes Bootlak clear (1-C)

Can be painted over:

With itself: wet-on-wet after 2-3 hours at 18°C. Other varnishes after 24 hours at 18°C.

Can be painted over with:

Two-component: Epifanes Poly-urethane Yacht Lacquer Clear and Silk Gloss Clear One-component: Epifanes Boat Lacquer Clear, Epifanes Hardwood Oil Varnish, Epifanes Egg Gloss Clear

14 m²/l @ 30 microns
