Epifanes Clear Boat Lacquer

Epifanes Clear Boat Lacquer is a high-gloss classic yacht varnish with a long-lasting gloss retention. It is a one-component varnish that is very UV resistant, partly due to the extra built-in ultraviolet filter. This optimally protects the wood against discoloration due to sunlight! This boat varnish stands out because of its particularly high elasticity, which means that the varnish does not crack on working wood.

Applications

Epifanes clear boat lacquer can be used for new work on solid bare wood (for example: meranti, mahogany, Oregon pine) and plywood indoors and outdoors above the waterline. In addition, this boat paint can be used for maintenance of existing, intact one- and two-component paint systems, regardless of brand.

Processing instructions

Do not apply Epifanes clear boat lacquer wet-on-wet and avoid higher layer thicknesses than recommended to prevent sagging and problems with drying. Always ensure sufficient ventilation during the processing and drying of the paint. Avoid applying paint in full sun or wind. Under these conditions, rapid evaporation of solvent takes place, which can prevent proper flow of the paint.
