SigmaPrime 200 - Universal Anticorrosive Epoxy Primer

Description:
SigmaPrime 200 is a universal epoxy primer system suitable for ballast tanks, deck, topside, superstructures, skin, oil cargo tanks and cargo holds. Suitable for application and curing in various climatic conditions.

Characteristics:

• Excellent anti-corrosion properties and water resistance
• Substrate-friendly primer
• Good chemical resistance
• Good wear resistance in certain application areas
• Excellent adhesion to steel, shop primer, galvanized steel and non-ferrous metals
• Excellent paintability
• Suitable on wet-blasted surfaces (damp or dry)

Compatible with:

• Self as primer
• Epoxy, polyurethane, alkyd coating and topcoat

Color and sheen:

• Gray, yellow/green
• Egg shine

Instructions for use:

• Stir well before use until homogeneous in color and texture (max. 5 minutes).
• Too much dilution can reduce resistance to sagging.

Drying times:

• Paintable after 6 hours at 10°C.

Dilution:

• Sigma Thinner 91-92.

Processing temperature:

• Can be processed up to 5°C.

Efficiency:

• Approx. 3.8 m² per liter for a dry film thickness of 150 µm.

Surface:

• Steel, non-ferrous metals, galvanized steel.

Application methods:

• Spraying, brushing, rolling (below and above the waterline).

Mixing ratio:

• 80:20.
