Epifanes Rapidclear

Epifanes Rapidclear 0.75L

Clear UV protective semi-gloss varnish based on urethane/alkyd resin and UV filter. This varnish alternative offers very good adhesion to teak and other (oily) wood types and emphasizes the natural structure of the wood. Due to the fast recoating times - without intermediate sanding - and the limited number of necessary layers, Epifanes Rapidclear is a fast and effective alternative to traditional varnish systems.

Application:

All woodwork, inside and outside above water. Specially suitable for teak. As a base coat and as a finishing coat on all round timbers, railings, pot covers and other woodwork. Also suitable for applying a complete UV protective system and applicable over existing one- and two-component varnish systems, regardless of brand.

Advice:

For a high-gloss finish, dry and sanding with P 220 can be done with Epifanes Boat Lacquer Clear or Epifanes Hardwood Oil Varnish.

Can be painted over:

After 5 hours at 18°C.

Can be painted over with:

After sanding with 220 grit, possibly with Epifanes Boat Lacquer Clear and Epifanes Hardwood Oil
