Why floats?

Floats are used to hold various marine and mooring objects, such as ball lines, anchor lines, and nets, on the surface of the water. They keep these lines and objects from sinking to the bottom, which is especially useful when marking fairways, anchorages, or for safety reasons. Floats are often brightly colored for visibility and can vary in shape and size depending on their application.

Why a ball line?

A ball line is a series of floating buoys, often in the shape of balls, connected by a line or cable. This structure is used in various maritime and water-related industries because of its clear visibility and versatility in applications. For example, in fishing, a ball line marks fishing nets, while it delineates offshore drilling sites for safety. In dredging operations, the line clearly demarcates work environments, reducing risks. In addition, it serves as an anchor and marker buoy for shipping. On beaches and in swimming areas, the ball line creates safe zones for swimmers.
