Too much dilution reduces resistance to sagging.<\/p>\n<h3>Drying times and thinning<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Dust dry: 1 hour at 20\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>Paintable: after 36 hours at 10\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>Fully cured: at least 3 days at 20\u00b0C before exposure to heat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For application of Sigmatherm 175 Aluminum, it is generally not necessary to apply thinning. For spray application, it may be necessary to dilute the paint with Sigma Thinner 20-05 to achieve the correct viscosity.<\/p>\n<h3>Yield and layer thickness<\/h3>\n<p>The theoretical yield is 18.8 m\u00b2 per liter at a dry film thickness of 25 \u00b5m. The recommended dry film thickness is 25 \u00b5m per coat.<\/p>\n<h3>Application methods<\/h3>\n<p>Sigmatherm 175 Aluminum can be applied by brush, roller (above the waterline only), air spray or airless spray equipment.<\/p>\n<h3>Mixing ratio<\/h3>\n<p>The recommended amount of thinner is up to 3% of the paint volume.
