The NL2 2024 is the ideal map to experience the Wadden Sea area. The water sports area is characterized by a high tidal range and a rugged sometimes almost untouched landscape. The map also covers the German island of Borkum but then quickly transitions to the Dutch side. There you will find Schiermonnikoog Ameland Terschelling Vlieland and Texel the five inhabited islands in the Wadden Sea which all also have a large marina. But also the coastal areas from the mouth of the Eems over Lauwersoog to the beginning of the Ijsselmeer are covered.The current sea chart Wadden Sea contains all nautically relevant information such as depths concrete signage prohibited areas tides etc. and is the basis for safe sailing.In this sea area you can take into account rough winds changing tides and sometimes longer waiting times when entering and leaving a port.
